Cabbage and Walnut Salad

The thing with salads is that you can be as creative as you want. Of course the creativity needs to be channeled properly so that you don't end up creating a mess!

This recipe is so easy that you will fall in love with its simplicity and ease even before you eat it.



For preparing salad enough for 4 people you need:

  • 1 mid sized Purple cabbage.
  • 50 grams Walnut kernels (about a handful)
  • 50 grams almonds (again about a handful)
  • 1 bowl boiled green peas
Break the larger kernels to smaller pieces and cut almonds in half.

For dressing, select your favorite salad dressing. I chose Honey Mustard and Lemon and Coriander. Add a pinch of salt (actually 2 pinches, you can add according to your taste) and top it up with about a couple of spoonfuls of lemon juice.

You know the drill: mix everything well and serve cold.
