Yess that's the name of the dish and it's one of my favorite recipes that my mother would make for us. It can be served as a tea time snack or, even in breakfast.

So, here goes the easy-peasy recipe-
Ingredients:
- 4 hard boiled eggs
- 3 medium sized potatoes boiled and mashed
- 1-2 green chillies finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Pinch of dry mango powder
- Few coriander leaves roughly chopped
- Salt and pepper powder to taste
- 2 bread slices
- Breadcrumbs
- Oil (if deep frying)/ If making in airfryer, 2 spoons oil would be sufficient
Method:
- Lightly dip the bread in water and squeeze out the water and tear it into small pieces. Combine bread, all the spices and chopped coriander with mashed potatoes.
- Take some quantity of mashed potatoes sufficient enough to make covering for the egg. Flatten the potato mix with hand and put egg in it as shown in the below pic.
- You could either deep fry these until golden brown and crisp, or bake in airfryer at 180 temp for 12-15 min. I have baked these in airfryer.
- Once ready, cut it in two parts, sprinkle pepper powder. Enjoy with green coriander chutney and tomato ketchup :)
